This Looks to Me to Be for REAL!

Thursday, September 30, 2021. I should have updated yeaterday and checked in and said watch for an immanent reversal. I really knew that when I saw this earlier today from a famous trader: “Silver just reached and reversed sharply off of the support levels I outlined earlier this month. The potential for a significant low in precious metals may be in play. More in a bit.” I’ve yet to see anymore from this fellow, but I was immediately reminded that my own work was suggesting the same!

And here it is… F1 hit 10 under its lower trading band and reversed. That is a good signal. F2 signaled as well. F3 is under 10 and is a signal. F4 did so with yesterday’s close and has turned up. F5 not only got to 40, it is now at 30. That is a signal. But, F6… my beloved F6 closed at 0 yesterday, and that along with a good F1 signal always gets me excited. Along with that trader, I’d say we’ve got a true precious metals buy right here! Let me try to put more up in a little bit….

Liking What I see!

Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Trying to time GLD, I can, at the very least, identify what I have come to refer to as “low-risk market entry opportunities.” I do this with an ancient program called The OEXpert 7 Stock Market Timing Program from 1992. It says…

Risk would appear to be getting plenty low. The F1 indicator is under its lower trading band and at 11. That’s a decent signal. The price of GLD is right in its two lower trading bands. That’s a plus. F2 has signaled before and is very close to doing so again… one more day could easily do it. F3 is close, at 13. Another day, and down to 10 or lower, and it will have signaled. F4 is under -5 and is also close… wouldn’t take much more. F5 is NOW under 40, at 37 and that’s a solid signal. Finally, F6 is at 4, well under 10, and not far from a 0. It is signaling, and with another day could easily tag 0.

I can never say with any degree of absolute certainty, but, I think it fair to say that we are in, or very close to, a very fine place of low-risk entry, and that it would be incumbent upon anyone to consider acquiring something in the precious metals area just about now. I’ll commence to watch much more carefully!

What Do We See?

Tuesday, September 21, 2021. I’ve updated the timer on GLD. What have we got?

F1 is at 10 and a signal, while price is still within its 2 lower trading bands, also a signal. F2, always early, had signaled already. F3, often late or not participating is at 42 and aways from 10 still… no signal. F5 reads 59 and is aways away also, not signaling. F6 looks to be at 16, just above its lower trading band and near to a signal.

I can’t call it yet on this basis of the timer’s indicators, but I can say that it is looking rather close. I’ll wait before I say it’s generating a signal… and it could even take off before it gives one. So, be flexible. Make your own decision. I’m not yet convinced.

Eyes Wide Open!!!

Monday, September 20, 2021. Everyone… the metals are setting up for a potential buying opportunity again! I just updated the timer and the results are as follows…

F1 puts the price into its 2 lower trading bands, which constitutes a low-risk signal. F2, ever-early and never useful, except as an early alert is near to signaling, so we can wait a bit more perhaps. F3 is typically slow and does not signal often; is at 48, and has a goodly ways to go… fine. F4 likewise needs some time. Being at -3, it’s got some space yet. F5 is at 62 and we want a 40 or lower. Again… some more time. Finally, F6 is at 17 and near its lower trading band. It tends to be the very most helpful.

Whenever F1 and F6 signal together, even apart from all the others, it should never be ignored, so let me state here: F1 is at 15, and below its lower trading band. If it should hit 10 or lower, and with the price below its 2 lower bands… that’s a strong signal by itself… Add an F6, which is now at 18 and just above its lower trading band, and approaching 10, where a better signal is… These 2 are getting close, where the others, like 3 and 5 are not just yet.

We need to be on the lookout now, as opportunity may be coming. I don’t want to miss it, and I’m already rather well committed to metals. Will I add to my positions? I cannot say just yet… but, I might. More later, and hopefully not a long time later. I will be updating the timer, as stocks are also looking to possibly commence to be setting up for a low-risk entry opportunity, too!
